If dream illustrators existed I’d happily delve into the sleepy, Miu Miu esq land created by illustrator du jour, Jennifer Pitchers. In Parma Violet Shades, her drawings evoke a Cute, Care Bear Kinda Charm that are hard not to fall in love with/ want to wear. And soon you will be able to because Jennifer has just designed a range of bespoke textile patterns for the recently featured fashion designer Coco Fennell. Flash Trash caught up with Jennifer to find out what’s going on in her illustrated world..

Working on: New Issue of ‘Paper & Krook’, a literary magazine I publish for aspiring writers and book lovers.

Looking at: Photographer Sally Mann, who is currently showing at the Photographer’s Gallery, London. Also painter, Andrew Wyeth, who completely understood the importance of space and quiet drama.

Reading: Hmm, I would usually start waffling on about intelligent literature like Iris Murdoch but errr… I’ve been obsessively reading the Twilight series recently! It’s probably the worst writing I’ve ever read but I can’t help but envision RPattz with every sentence – a fair compromise!
