@MYFLASHTRASH hosts so many great pieces, and Easy Living magazine clearly thinks so too! The website dedicated its Spring's Best Jewellery Buys segment to three of our designers: Anna Bowes, Lestie Lee, and Love Bullets! Just click on the item names to buy.
Anna Bowes' Owl Necklace is classically beautiful with with a modern quirk. Perfect for either spicing up workwear or dressing down an outfit for a night out. It features a vintage 9c puffed gold Owl pendant, with a fill chain and fastening with decorative star end detail. The overall length from fastening to tip of charm is 30cm.
Lestie Lee's Diamond Cage Ring and Diamond Cage Stud Earrings give architecture a glamourous edge. For those who dont have real diamonds, these designs give as much of a statement. They are available in 18ct gold vermeil or Sterling Silver.
This Red Mortar Bomb Pendant from Love Bullets mixes its signature mortar bomb shape with some Swarovski sparkle to give military some glamour. The necklace is available in gold or silver with a chain length of 32".
Where to stay: If you have have friends out here or your friends have friends you could stay with I'd definitely recommend doing that. You can emerge yourself into life out here and you don't have to wait for room service! Otherwise you may as well stay at the Mandarin Oriental ( the original one of course) Although Amber restaurant in the Landmark is very good, if i do say so myself!
Where to shop: Hong Kong is all about shopping. Shopping. Shopping. Shopping. Buying things is pretty much the life-blood of every day life here. Skip over the huge Luxury Branded areas, although be sure to check out the best department store in the world, Lane Crawford ( as well as Joyce & OnPedder, IT) and head out to Causeway bay where you'll find loads of little malls that have local HK designers as well as a lot of Korean Fashion. TST has some great little malls too, many of which I have just stumbled into by chance which is the best way to do it really.
Museums + Art: Soho has a plethora of art galleries you should have a wonder round and out in Sha Tin, the HK heritage musuem is a must. They often have fashion exhbitions on ( Right Now YSL,Oh I mean Saint Laurent Paris!) and theres a great little temple near by with Fortune Tellers if your feeling auspicious!
Where to Eat: HK is not short of immesnly luxurious restaurants the best in the world in my opnion. So save your cash and blow it all on meals at Pierre, Aqua, Amber, Island Tang & Zuma. During the day to recover from last night's spending, delve into local dim sum and noodle shops or pop into MIX for a juice and wrap. You must try the Egg Tarts and stock up on Candy from Okashi Land.
Can't wait to reveal what we are working on out here! But for now leave some comments about your HK tips or any questions and Ill try get back to you!
