Here at MY FLASH TRASH we are declaring this week Vintage Week! Keep an eye out for new (old) pieces from queen of vintage treasures Kye Tew, including wonderful headpieces, necklaces and bracelets. As well as Kye Tew we will have new pieces from Aimee's Vintage, brainchild of Aimee Croysdill, our favourite celebrity stylist. If that's not exciting enough we have a rather lovely vintage inspired competition coming up with Crown & Glory. Keep an eye on our Twitter account for more info on how to enter! We also met up with super cute vintage vixens Verity & Violet, and had fun filming a sweet little video with them, so make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel to check that out.

We met up with the impeccably stylish Laetitia of Mademoiselle Robot for a lovely cup of tea and a chat. Parisian Laetitia has had her style blog for six years and has built a loyal following thanks to her beautiful site, sense of humour, and of course, incredible sense of style! Laetitia styled some of her favourite MYFLASHTRASH pieces for us and answered a few questions about her style.

Update Your Look, with an on trend pop of rainbow colour! ♥ Rainbow Crystal Necklace £24.99

Hi Laetitia, lovely to meet you! You obviously have an innate sense of style, but who or what is your biggest style influence?

"I tend to get inspired by a lot of different things, whether it is a character in a movie, the colour palette on a building or a relative. My ultimate style icon is my grandmother. Her style was really unique. I also often look to Audrey Horne (from Twin Peaks) as I like her mix of school girl and femme fatale silhouette."

Do you wear a lot of jewellery? What are your favourite pieces?

"Everyday, I wear my engagement ring (from the Victorian era) as well as a snake ring from Circé (my friend's jewellery line), a simple silver bangle and a fine necklace. When I go out, I generally just add a statement piece, often a big rhinestone necklace."

You've written a book called 'Style Yourself with Jewellery', which sounds right up our street, can you tell us a bit about it?

"It is a book I wrote in collaboration with Swarovski, about incorporating costume jewellery in every moment of a woman's life." That sounds fantastic, every woman needs a few pieces of costume jewellery in their wardrobe!

Who's your favourite designer on myflashtrash and do you have a couple of favourite pieces?

I love Erickson Beamon, Leivankash and Zoe & Morgan. My favourite pieces are: Statement CuffGold Love Lasso RingGold Mini Protect Me Ring

Thank you Laetitia for having us for tea and cuddles with your lovely cat!
