Pastel Pooches: to dye or not to dye
Is this new trend for pooches barking mad?
This week pictures emerged of Emma Watson out and about in London with a dog dyed a shocking bubblegum pink. While the Harry Potter actress star later claimed that it was to raise money for breast cancer and the dye was harmless, (it was in fact made from vegetable oils) the photos sparked controversy from animal rights activists while fans expressed their outraged on Twitter.
The act of animal-friendly dying has become increasingly popular over the last few years with actress Amber Heard and the Jersey Shore’s Snookie also being spotted with abnormally coloured pooches. But do you love or hate this trend? Would you go this far to make your pooch match your outfit? Or are these celebs just dying for attention?
