I'm super excited to be part of the MFT designers. It's such a cool place to showcase Kismet Lola London jewellery. I've always loved girly sparkling jewels, and growing up in a family where my parents worked in fashion and my sisters and mom were queens of accessories, I couldn't help but get in on all the fun. I probably made my first piece of jewellery at 14 yrs old. I actually found it the other day, its a bit embarrassing now that I look at it, but I loved it back then.

AWW HOW CUTE! WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION?
My inspiration comes mostly from my mom, but also fashion and art. My mom has a huge collection of traditional middle eastern and indian jewellery. I've tried to put a modern twist to it and make it accessible to girls today. A lot of my jewellery includes Middle Eastern charms and talisman's which I was surrounded by whilst growing up and has inspired my collection too.

YOUR JEWELLERY FEATURES SYMBOLS SUCH AS THE HAND OF FATIMA, WHAT DO THESE SYMBOLS MEAN?
The Hand of Fatima and Evil Eye (Nazar) are both ancient signs of protection and good luck, warding off negativity and bad luck. I've alway cherished the meanings behind them. They are visible almost everywhere in the Middle East, from hanging on walls at home to key charms. I even have a cute little Evil Eye charm dangling from the mirror in my car!
